About this pack
The fruit pack runs from everyday apples and bananas through to summer watermelon and the citrus family. The hints lean on how a fruit is used or where it turns up — crushed to make wine, baked in pies, peeled by monkeys — so each clue is a small piece of general knowledge as well as a pointer to the answer.
Solving tips
• Fruit names are vowel-heavy. Emoji that appear two or three times in a short cipher are usually A, E or O.
• Watch for the double letters in the longer names — they narrow the field quickly.
• The hint describes a use, not a shape. Think about where you have met the fruit rather than what it looks like.
Common questions
Are the answers shown?
Yes. Open the panel under any puzzle to see the fruit spelled out.
Do the emoji show the fruit?
No. Every emoji stands for a letter, so an apple emoji is as likely to be a T as anything else.
