About this pack
The music pack covers the instruments you would meet in a school orchestra or a first music lesson: piano, guitar, drums, violin, flute. Each hint describes how the instrument is played or what it is made of — blown from the side, played with a bow, struck for beats — which makes the clues a small lesson in how instruments work as well as a route to the answer.
Solving tips
• Most answers are five to six letters, so count the emoji and rule out the instruments that do not fit.
• The hint describes the playing technique. Bow, pick, keys and breath each point at a different family.
• Vowels cluster in these names — PIANO and VIOLIN are three vowels each. Repeated emoji are usually vowels.
